Tonight I’ve been working to improve security on Weblogs.us As part of that work, I switched our PHP from CGI to an Apache module. Well, it turns out that the PHP Apache module is faster than CGI. That means every PHP page on Weblogs.us is going to be snappier.
Soon (Sep/Oct) there will be more configuration changes on Weblogs.us that should improve speed even more. Once everything is perfected and a new server is added, we’ll open signups back up.
There is one other surprise coming soon, but I don’t want to let the cat out of the bag just yet!
